This file contains the executable program for CVLGrid1.1. If you have already installed EEMS8.3 you can simply replace the exe file in the installation folder with this one.
EFDC+ (EFDCPlus) Single Precision Release Version (2018_11_26) compiled with Intel Fortran for EFDC_Explorer8.4. EFDC+ is the DSI version of EFDC and contains many enhancements, including Sigma-Zed vertical layering, OMP multi-core processing, full dynamic memory allocation and Lagrangian particle tracking. With dynamic allocation the model does not require the user to recompile EFDC for each application. This allows the user to apply EFDC more efficiently and with less potential for errors.This is the primary version of EFDC that DSI use.
EFDC+ (EFDCPlus) Single Precision “Debug Version” (2018_11_26) compiled with Intel Fortran for use with EFDC_Explorer8.4. The “Debug Version” uses the same source code as the “Release Version” but has been compiled with full Intel debug options to check array bounds, numeric conversion, etc. This version is useful during the initial model runs to ensure the model is correctly set up. Normally you only need to run this for a few hours of the simulation to ensure the model is properly dimensioned.

This download contains the Fortran source code of EFDC_EPA. This version of EFDC has been developed by the US EPA and uses General Vertical Coordinates (GVC). This version of EFDC_EPA is configured to run with EFDC_Explorer6. However, it should be noted that the EPA version does not use dynamic memory allocation and the user will need to manually redefine array sizes for individual models.
